Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium began hosting Indian Premier League 20/20 matches in 2010 and is the second home ground of the Punjab XI (their first home ground is in Chandigarh).
Situated in lower Dharamsala, this unique venue is at 1,457m above sea level, with the snow-capped Dhauladhar range as a backdrop. The first international team to play at the ground was Pakistan, in a tour match against an Indian Board President's XI in 2005.
The Dharamshala weather provides perfect cricket conditions, with the breeze from the mountains an asset to spin bowlers.
Matches are played from March to June and September to December.
Jagatram Niwas is happy to offer accommodation and transport to anyone attending matches.
